Why are the prices they offer us so low as I have actally seen a second hand game cost more than what it cost in the shops new (this was an army man game, so now one was going to buy it nw anyway)
I feel that we sould have set rules and regulations in which the dealer has guide lines on how much to give their customers instead of their own guidelines.
You get more than you would have done if you'd tradedit in, and your mate gets it cheaper than if he'd bought it from the shop.
Everyone's happy.
Before trade-in, you got nothing for your old games. If your game is such that you do not want it anymore, go ahead. You get something back, the shop gets something and the person who buys it again get something too.
Everybody is happy !!!!
It's a little thing called maths.
I buy a game new for £40 (say). I play it, have it for a couple of months, then want to sell it.
The price of the new game has gone down to, say £35, as it's no longer a brand new title. Therefor, if you want to sell it secondhand, the most you can charge for it is £20.
The shops want to make some profit from it, so they'll give you £10.
If the game is £35 when it first comes out, by the time you want to sell it it's £30. Second hand it's £15, you sell it to a shop you'll get around £6 or £7.
See?

So who's the bigger moron - them for damaging them, or you for continuously lending them? ;-)
