SR claims that the Eye Toy is unique. However it does seem remarkably similar the GameBoy Camera released a few years ago. Sorry. I just had to say something about that.

I remember in NOM, they said you could put your face in Perfect Dark using the GB Camera and the transfer pack. Is that true and if it is, why did Rare cancel it?

It didn't film you while objects designed for interaction were made to fly onto the screen, like the EyeToy does.
So yes, it is unique. But gets very boring after a while. Playing it for the second time today wasn't even half as fun as it was when I played it on Saturday. Boo.
