"Eye Toy......unique????"

SR claims that the Eye Toy is unique. However it does seem remarkably similar the GameBoy Camera released a few years ago. Sorry. I just had to say something about that.

Apparently it's soon gonna be used to send messages and video clips and stuff via the PS2's online facilities. Could be interesting and certainly novel.

Yup, that was the official reason.

It's a nice little gadjet.

It's crap on your own though. Only worth having if you're gonna use it when friends come round, and even then, the novelty will wear off pretty quickly.

Ermm... Stage Debut?

They took it out becausethey thought some psycho kid might shoot their mate on PD then in real life. Don't ask me why.

As for EyeToy, it rocks! By far the most fun game on the PlayStation 2, there are better, but it terms of raw 'having a laugh' gaming, it's amazing. Whoop!

And it can't be 3D, because you only have a 2D picture.

Probably because it would look stupid, imagine it, a big face on a small body. Or something.

Yeah... that was going to happen, but Rare randomly took the feature out.
