Okay, an absolute torrent of entries for this one, it too ka good couple of hours to read them all, and I had to kill several trees for the paper to print them all out, so no moaning about the winners.

Winner of a game of his choice - mickey, for his suggestion of a 'Gameaday Receipt' idea, of which many of you suggested, but mickey got their first. Well done, mickey.

Runners up prize of a DVD of his choice goes to Aliboy, for his 'Santa' idea. It's well put and a nice festive idea, so it's definitely worthy of a prize. Congrats.

Thanks to everyone for all your entries, we read them all and found them to be very useful. Peace out, and complaints to the usual address. Cheers

Ali

Extra GAD prize here for those with a creative brain to help us with our marketing and promotions.

1. Don't suggest any alterations to the site design. Don't suggest expensive campaigns.

2. Suggest how we can attract more visitors to the site from within the pages of our Club Magazine and our adverts in the specialist press such as PC Gamer.

3. Remember space is very limited. But you can enter this with something as simple as a change to the wording which we already use.

Below is an example of the type of thing we are looking for:

So, what do you say boys?

I remember seeing a ad on t.v. that just had a pink square saying 'Nigel pick me'. I was curiouse as i had seen this ad alot but wanted to know what it was about but obviously there was no way of finding out. Eventually about a month later the ad was extended and revealed it was for a program called pop stars.
So my point is if you just had a ad in a magazine which was just plain white with black text saying "www.ukgames.com" then i think alot of people would see it and think hmm whats that and they would be very curiouse. They would then want to find out what it was and visit the address given on the ad. It is kind of playing with peoples minds.

You could have several different characters (i.e if the ad was in a pc mag then say Max Payne or if in a PS2 mag say solid snake) and you could put a red splat ove their face. Underneath a caption saying "Game prices splatted at www.ukgames.com"

You have a picture at the top of the page with a man half asleep next to a big pile of work. Caption underneath says "This is the amount of work you need to do to afford a game from a high street shop."

A picture below that with a reduced pile of work than the first picture with a man more awake than the first picture. Caption "This is the amount of work you need to do (Not alot) to afford a game from SR, your No.1 Internet games service"

A third picture below that with a man holding up a single piece of paper with a smile on his face. Caption "This is the amount of work you need to do to afford a game from www.gameaday.com. Thats right. Produce a good review of a game and you could win another game of your choice from any games format...absolutely free! for more info visit www.ukgames.com"
