Okay, an absolute torrent of entries for this one, it too ka good couple of hours to read them all, and I had to kill several trees for the paper to print them all out, so no moaning about the winners.

Winner of a game of his choice - mickey, for his suggestion of a 'Gameaday Receipt' idea, of which many of you suggested, but mickey got their first. Well done, mickey.

Runners up prize of a DVD of his choice goes to Aliboy, for his 'Santa' idea. It's well put and a nice festive idea, so it's definitely worthy of a prize. Congrats.

Thanks to everyone for all your entries, we read them all and found them to be very useful. Peace out, and complaints to the usual address. Cheers

Ali

Extra GAD prize here for those with a creative brain to help us with our marketing and promotions.

1. Don't suggest any alterations to the site design. Don't suggest expensive campaigns.

2. Suggest how we can attract more visitors to the site from within the pages of our Club Magazine and our adverts in the specialist press such as PC Gamer.

3. Remember space is very limited. But you can enter this with something as simple as a change to the wording which we already use.

Below is an example of the type of thing we are looking for:

Headline
So, what do you say boys?

Text

Explanation
This would be an extra Gameaday prize running in conjunction with the promotional campaign. Designed specifically to draw in new visitors.

The winner will be the person who makes the suggestion MOST LIKELY to draw in extra visitors. The deadline for entries is the end of October.

Tricky eh?

Get ad space on review pages on magazines, just a tiny corner with a box saying Get this game for free - Gameaday.co.uk

Perhaps offer a GAD for their star letter, they are more likely to let you do this.

When people look to buy games online they search many places for the cheapest price.

Burger King had a campaign not so long ago that had "30% more beef than a Big Mac and cheaper too". As long as they were factual, they got away with it. So...

WHSmiths: £38.99
Amazon: £35.99
SPECIAL RESERVE: £32.99

I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but the threads always post in descending order (i.e. newest first). This makes it very difficult for people to read through the thread, as they have to start at the end, and read up. Therefore, i propose that you change the direction of all the threads, so that new people are able to read through a post systematically, and existing users can follow a post that may have been started when they werent online, and there may now be 8 or 9 new posts. Just an idea...
