Best Idea, plus with most of us mainly using PHP ... you'll get much better help out of use lot too :o).

When I tried learning Perl, it looked tough, then when I fliped through a PHP book, it looks much easier, and the better choise of the two

No, we're actually helping him by saving him a lot of time and bother.

PHP is CGI anyway. Any cripting language is CGI. PHP just happens to be more flexible.

Well, he did ask about CGI and Perl, and we all went on about PHP ...... "PHP is so amazing, don't use CGI, All hail PHP" ... well, something like that ..... so he's probably ignoring us now .... ops. I'm guessing were were no help to him, sorry mate.
