I don't know why, I finished Zelda and decided to return to my older titles rather than lunge into any new ones (Pokemon soon yay). I should really play the still far from complete Metroid but that bores me so I had a laugh a minute blast on the frankly excellent and addictive Timesplitters 2, had some mates over to play it too. This is turning out just like Perfect Dark on how much I play it.
So go on what have you been playing? and why?
It is so much more, and you get items far quicker than you got ship parts. Which makes you feel like you've progressed further than you used to.
And the whole two character system keeps you active rather than waiting for the slow Pikmin.
One band of Pikmin led by Olimar is knocking down a wall to get to a special item. The other band is building a Pikmin army led by Loouie.
Who isn't nearly as bad as you might think.
And the cut scenes are far better too, unlike the rather shoddy attempts in the original.
Top quality title.
Can't wait :D
I watched the opening vid on the NGC dvd and boy did it pish me off when they nicked your Dolphin! I just spent an entire game building that frickin' ship and now you take it away!! Better get it back at the end. Better. *Grits teeth*
I now remembered why I loved Pikmin so much.
Because it is such a Nintendo game it begs belief.
Planning ahead, as I'm going to get it on the weekend :)
After ranking up and buying a few cars, I decided to be a little naughty. After selecting a street race in Ultimate series, I went around the track the wrong way, and when the other cars came past I'd get in their way.
'Twasn't a Burnout 3 by far, but the crashes were pretty cool.
And, in The Simpsons: Hit & Run, I got myself `The Homer´ for around $500 - and what a car it is, too! Worth every penny! ;)
'Tis legendary.
