I don't know why, I finished Zelda and decided to return to my older titles rather than lunge into any new ones (Pokemon soon yay). I should really play the still far from complete Metroid but that bores me so I had a laugh a minute blast on the frankly excellent and addictive Timesplitters 2, had some mates over to play it too. This is turning out just like Perfect Dark on how much I play it.
So go on what have you been playing? and why?
Nintendo do spoil me.
Such genius.
Got 53/173 Medals at the mo', so we're getting there slowly.
Can't get enough of it. 'Tis a brilliant game.

I noticed that when watching the NGC DVD...
Anyway, I much prefer this to the original Underground. The levels are much better, the music is better and Classic mode is great to have back. It was pretty cool to start it up, only to be greeted by 'That's Life' By Sinatra. Slightly odd choice of music, but it works.
Still, there aren't really many new tricks, apart from the natas spin, which lets you spin around on bins and posts. And those God awful vehicles are gone, which are replaced with characters who ride about in certain other vehicles, such as a wheelchair, which you can actually do tricks on, and don't handle like they're in zero gravity.
However, quite what they'll do for the next one, THPS5 or THUG3, whatever they call it. What does need to be done is a graphical update. The graphics don't look quite up to standard anymore. And I wish they'd keep it more to the Classic mode.
