Timesplitters 2

I don't know why, I finished Zelda and decided to return to my older titles rather than lunge into any new ones (Pokemon soon yay). I should really play the still far from complete Metroid but that bores me so I had a laugh a minute blast on the frankly excellent and addictive Timesplitters 2, had some mates over to play it too. This is turning out just like Perfect Dark on how much I play it.

So go on what have you been playing? and why?

You can skip them?

*bangs head*

Turned it off and stuck Resident Evil 3 on instead.

The only Resident Evil game I have yet to finish.

I haven't finished Code Veronica on the Cube yet, but at least I've done it before.

I'm gonna have to pick up RE2 at some point just so I can say I've got the full collection.

Tales of Phantasia. For those of you who imported and have played Tales of Symphonia to death (me included) I've been playing a translated english version ROM of the SNES classic that is very similar to Symphonia in many ways (well Symphonia is similar i should say as it came after this), one of which the planet this game is set has 2 moons, and both of which have very very similar names to the 2 planets in Symphonia, e.g. Silveront (instead of Sylvarant), and Teseala (instead of Tethe'alla or whatever revised name is going to be in the European version) both of which have almost the same prounciations for those who have played Symphonia. Also all of the sumon spirits have the same names, but i won't spoil you.
The battle system is a little more compacted in this game as it's only got 1 linear battle line and so you end up bumping into your campanions on more than one occasion. Also many of the same battle and item features are the same. But one good thing about a straight from jap to english translation is that you still contains all of the raunchy japanese humour, which makes this game very amusing at times, seeing as when games like this are taken to the western market they take all of this naughty stuff out making it almost squeaky clean, which made it a tad surprising when it came to play this game.
This is a most enjoyable experience to play this old game and somewhat new too.

Viewtiful Joe. Amazing game. On the last boss battle, with the fiery dude. He's very hard tho'. I only just managed to beat the 4 guys before him. I'm having a rest now tho, been playing on it since about 12, maybe. I cant really remember, but my hands are really hurting so i've stopped :P

Found myself playing the NES Classic: Super Mario Bros. when I turned up 40-minutes-early for college last week! :D

Ah, that game never gets old... Even though it plays like it!
It's funny; as terrible as you are at playing a classic now, you still remember ALL the little secrets and shortuts - like the one in the first dungeon, where you can run along the top of the screen to warp-pipes and skip-along a few worlds. ;)

On my GameCube, for some strange reason, I've really gotten into Harvest Moon, all of a sudden. Perhaps it's because I'm closer to buying the Milking Room (even though I have everything else), summer's here (meaning I can sell some seeds, in bulk!) and that I'm getting the grip of Hybrid Crops, too...?

I also really enjoyed Animal Crossing yesterday, too. For the first time in two weeks. I'm stocking up on sweets early, and I even spent about ninety-minutes creating something that resembles the Chili Peppers' 'logo' - which, after all that time and concentration, looks lik absolute pap on your clothes or brolly! :P

And then, I finished it all off with a round of I]The Simpsons: Hit & Run[/I]. Only, to find that, percentage wise, I'm only about 52% through the whole game! :S

Seeing as this is my third-and-final day off 'til work and college begins again, and I've had a stinkin' cold all week, I'm looking to make this last day a real blast - perhaps, even, progressing with Beyond Good and Evil, or Pikmin... :O
