I don't know why, I finished Zelda and decided to return to my older titles rather than lunge into any new ones (Pokemon soon yay). I should really play the still far from complete Metroid but that bores me so I had a laugh a minute blast on the frankly excellent and addictive Timesplitters 2, had some mates over to play it too. This is turning out just like Perfect Dark on how much I play it.
So go on what have you been playing? and why?
I mean, why did the other girls have to leave? That would've been fun, I'm sure... ;)
BG&E's a brilliant game mind. One the best adventure game I've played since The Wind Waker, infact! Worthy of every-penny in the £19.99 I paid SR for it. It plays a lot like Starfox Adventures in places, only, this time, it really works.
Both XIII and Resident Evil remain in their plastic wrapping mind, and I still haven't touched Turok: Evolution even once, either.
:)
"I really want a football game..."

If you're willing to import, then I'd have to reccomend World Soccer Winning Eleven 6: Final Evolution from Japan. It may only be in Japanese, it may be a little 'dated' now, and you may need a 64mb memory card to play it, but it is still the `King of all Kings´ in terms of the GameCube's footie-sims.
Add all the FIFA games together and they still don't even come close!
:)
I plan to trade in Everything or Nothing, True Crime: Streets of LA and Lost Kingdoms for some game although it'll probably be MArio Golf knowing me.
I've been playing multiplayer Super Monkey Ball 2 with my mates lately.

Muh, read my post. The mid air-battles do stop though, if you want them too.
[SPOILERS] Once you've completed Yafutoma which he's about to do, you get the plans to mod the Delphinus to allow upper and lower sky transport, where there are no monster battles. Neato. [/SPOILERS]
The temple battles don't stop of course, otherwise how would you level up? I'm not a fan of real-time RPGs, or maybe that's just because of FF:CC..
Just completed Contracts so went out and bought Hitman 2 for £14.99 Brand New and in the original box, from Virgin. Both fantastic games, although Contracts was a bit short.
Might go and buy Hitman: Codename 47 today then.

That won't be stopping any time too soon..
As long as they have decent weapon animations, a decent story for the single player mode and online play on Xbox then the sequel should be one of the best, if not the best console shooty game out there.
I'll reserve judgement though till Halo 2 comes out, if it's as big of a let down as the first game was though then I won't be impressed.
Oh and a bit of Perfect Dark style wouldn't go a miss in Timesplitters. Being able to knock guns out of peoples hands was very cool, also enemies that talk when you shoot them was good too, oh and some nice blood effects as well. Take all the things that made Timesplitters so good, couple it with all the cool stuff from Perfect Dark and we may just have the greatest shooter ever.
