Timesplitters 2

I don't know why, I finished Zelda and decided to return to my older titles rather than lunge into any new ones (Pokemon soon yay). I should really play the still far from complete Metroid but that bores me so I had a laugh a minute blast on the frankly excellent and addictive Timesplitters 2, had some mates over to play it too. This is turning out just like Perfect Dark on how much I play it.

So go on what have you been playing? and why?

Was playing loads fo Metroid Prime yesterday and today I've been ploughing through Spider-Man 2. It's a brilliant game, from what I've played on par with GTA in terms of fun just messing around, swinging around the city is awesome.

Just played Metroid Priem for about 3 hours, brilliant game. The Thermal Visor section is especially great.

I only played it the one time, but I certainly was glad I took my silver GBA SP away with me to Spain last week. Although I didn't play that much either, I did manage to get past the stupidly-easy part of World 2 in Yoshi's Island that I was stuck on for ages!

...Actually, I read something in a walkthrough about "pushing" the ghost several weeks ago, I just never got around to playing it.

That's one of the main things I love about Nintendo games - it's not always "hack-and-slash" like everything else on the market. :)

They arrived just before my holiday, but I got around to opening and playing The Simpsons: Hit & Run and Pool Paradise yesterday after I got back. I like them both! I've almost lost all my money already playing pool, while I found I got a little bored of the Simpsons game too easily... I'd still reccomend them both though.

I might like get one here and one there.

Mario Golf is very good i found, the look on my brothers face when Pikmin leapt from the grass was priceless (he loves that game).

In my situation, I only saved a bit of money on a couple of the games because I bought them from a shop I used to work for :D

I had Super Mario Bros and Donkey Kong bought for me by my brother from here.

I bought the SP and Pacman where I worked for Ł89.99 and had a fiver off of Zelda and Excitebike.

And because they didn't have the other three games, I had to buy them from another local retailer for full price.

As for Mario Golf - I'm suprisingly enjoying it! I've never been keen on golf games, but Mario Golf and the golf minigames in the Monkey Ball series are very good fun.

You like Mario Golf Edgy????

Is there like deal somewhere where you can buy all 8 NES classics...

I'm more tempted than I should be.

SR do it surprisingly cheap (actually the cheapest I've found)...

*claps*

Do you think any of the NES classics will hit the Europe top ten.

Kikstart 2? I used to play that a lot on the old ZX Spectrum 128k +2! I enjoyed fiddling with the level editor on there then playing my own crazy courses. Frustrating as hell that game. Really cool.

I've mostly been playing:

GameCube: Mario Golf
GBA: Super Mario Bros, Donkey Kong, Ice Climbers, Xevious, Pacman, Bomberman, Excitebike, Pokémon Ruby. I'm saving Zelda til after I've done Pokémon Ruby.
Xbox: Spider-man 2 and Midtown Madness 3 (Live)
PC: Doom 1, 2, Final Doom
