What is spam?
I understood it to be pointless posts. But apparently if a thread goes off on to much of a tangent it is also spam. Can someone give me a clear definition of what it is so I can try to avoid spamming.

Now that last post was spam. Although it is in a topic about spam, so you could argue that it is actually not spam because it is spam. Bit of a paradox there.
