I just don't want it turning into another Spain as what interests me about Japan is the complete contrast it has to Western life, if western ideals start becoming the norm and take over the more traditional way of life then it'd suck.
Plus if people go over there with the whole Otaku mindset then they'll be disappointed just like Boogeyman was with his whole ninjas and swords stuff for China

Yea it was so bad that when you did actually see another foreign person you'd actually stop and have a 10 minute conversation and find out what they were doing and everything, i can't even fathom doing that here.

I don't have any other option but to take it seriously instead of winging it, it might get me through a month or so but when it comes the time to sink or swim i'll be sinking. I want to make a life for myself in Japan and i think that's pretty much all the motivation i need and if not then i always have the thought of if i don't make it work i have to come back to England and live with my mom and step dad again so that's definitely motivation :-D
