I just don't want it turning into another Spain as what interests me about Japan is the complete contrast it has to Western life, if western ideals start becoming the norm and take over the more traditional way of life then it'd suck.
Plus if people go over there with the whole Otaku mindset then they'll be disappointed just like Boogeyman was with his whole ninjas and swords stuff for China

Sounds good to me, Not sure if you'll find many foreigners there, unless you go to the islands so you'll feel quite at home. Though my brothers girlfriend is quite short. I hope you dont tower over them all. :S

No idea yet, will depend on how well Japan goes if i even decide to go there.
I have a friend over there (the lady friend i mentioned when i was cheering Ecuador on in the soccer) and i've always wanted to go to South America as well so just seems the perfect reason

Yes I heard a lot about that on that Japanese podcast I told you about. In the cities you just ingore each other sometimes but outside you're suddenly interested as if you have some kind of gajin radar detector or something lol

Well yes, thanks to the war and America I guess. If anything it's going to get "worse" as I think you said you werent happy with the idea of more westerners learning Japanese and anime fans wanting to move over there :)

LOL yes just keep thinking that and you'll master the language in no time. When do you plan to squeeze in this teaching in Ecuador? You haven't been to the country before I dont think, what made you want to go there?
Japan would definitely have more foreigners there, far more Western friendly country for longer
