I've just been looking through the new XBM mag, issue 22, and the line-up of new X-Box games for this year and the beginning of next looks fantastic.
Project Gotham 2
Half-life 2
Freedom Fighters
Colin McRae 4
Conker: Live and Uncut
Driver 3
True Crime
Armed and Dangerous
Star Wars: KOTOR
Soul Calibur 2
Broken Sword
Mafia
Worms 3D
Dead or Alive 4 and DOA online
MOH: Rising Sun

Shenmue 3
Full Spectrum Warrior
Splinter Cell 2

Everyone of those games look to be winners and extremely enjoyable games, and if the rumours are true we could also see a port of Vice City on the way to X-Box, and in this particular mag, they say that GTA3 will be included with Vice City. So to me the future of the X-Box looks very bright indeed and I'm really glad I got it now.

And you refuse to buy evidently one of your favourite ever games if it becomes PS2 exclusive? That's the biggest load of fanboy bullsh*t I've read in ages. Have you ever played or owned a PS2?

QTE's were excellent.
I wasn't a big fan of Zelda but I know it's better than the likes of Final Fantasy.
I will definately be buying Shenmue 3 if it goes on Xbox, if it goes on PS2 I won't as I refuse to own one of those over hyped, under powered machines. The Dreamcast is STILL a better machine than that and mine still gets played.

He is thinking of the QTE's which were a nice addition to the game. The actual fights themselves were very good providing you had trained and mastered the moves. As you get better the moves look better, act faster and do more damage.
To me the Shenmue games are utter genius. They won't revolutionise or add jack all to gaming. However they take every element out of the games I love and mix it with a highly predictable story line to make it my favourite series of all time. I know I am in the minority when I say this but its still what I believe about the Shenmue series.
The fact that more than half of the games these days invlove mindless violence or pathetic gameplay only adds to the fact that I like to grip onto a series which I know I will like. The quality of games being released has dropped dramatically compared with recent years. Game series' like Project Gotham, Halo, Mario, Shenmue and Zelda are what I will try to hang onto as long as I can.
