I know the opinion of most people here about me.
I know I go on and on about politics, injustices, the stupidity of mankind etc etc.
I get a few responses, but usually it's "stop moaning".
I put a post about Asset Forfeiture today and had 1 response.
I stick on about "WWF is Gay" and BOOM! Replies aplenty.
Something is wrong here.
I know this is a forum mainly about computing, but you'd think that more than 4-5 people would care about things that matter.
I enjoy video-games, but at the end of the day, they don't matter.
So I continue to post about illegal aid to 3rd world countries, dubious moral business ethics, the descent of mankind into a morass of stupidity etc and get labelled "A whinger" "like my grandad" and other amusing names.
Is it me?
Why does nobody else seem to be concerned or interested about life-changing events?
It's not because most people here are kids, I was like I am now when I was 12.
I dont get it.
Why do I continue to try and highlight things I find wrong with this planet, only to find zero responses, but a dumb topic designed to amuse and/or infuriate people gets responses faster than I can refresh my screen?
Why do I continually bang on and on and on about politics etc?
"Why can't you just shut-up" is the usual response.
Fair enough, each to their own.
I just find it incredibly frustrating that Gordon Brown is debating whether to allow police the power to monitor your bank accounts, but the main topic of conversation seems to be "Spammers should be banned".
*bangs head on desk over and over and over*
Sometimes someone will read something I've put and maybe, hopefully, sparked something of within them.
But mainly, I get the feeling that I stand there on my soapbox whilst people cross the street to avoid me.
Ah well, I'll die screaming but I know, in my heart, that I did what I could to make a difference.
I'm off to talk about movies now.
Everyone is intitled to an opinion but if you want an arguement then evidence is needed to back it up with and thats what most people tend to forget, yes, not just newbies you know.
I've said my opinions about the X-Box and I think it will fly high along with the PS2, but on the other hand I'm not too much of a Nintendo fan although I did love Perfect Dark and did love my SNES, I just don't share any enthusiasm about the GameCube, and about the few replies thing, I read every post by everyone no matter what, it's just whether you can actually reply sometimes and some posts you can't.
And just because we disagree on things sometimes, doesn't mean I don't value your input or enjoy batting the subject back and forth.
The more people that get into the "longer" discussion the better, as far as I'm concerned.
It's very rare that I read a response and think "Oh **** off, I don't like you anymore, I'm going to sulk".
It's always a pleasure to chat to you stranger.
If we all care about things they will change. And hopefully that will happen soon.

This was really asking why I care so much about things I can't change overnight.
But replies to my mind-rot are appreciated.
In my opinion there are too many fat people in the world.
Ok
Go goatboy!
I agree that the world is being screwed up.
I think ill write somthing about that....

I'm sure Jamie Mockney Cockney Oliver could give you a few tips.

Here's a tenner, run along and get yourself something pretty.
Can't decide. Its a toss up between the "knit yourself a perfect man kit" or the new selection of "how to tighten your pelvic floor video" courtesy or Minger/Skeletor/I'm a 32 year old baby spice video. Oh the choice is too tough. I'll do a bit of embroidery, wave the smelling salts and hope the hormone storm passes.
