I'm one of the very few who have never bought anything from Ebay, and I don't have a clue how the thing works. So I would like to know if anyone here has bought anything from there, and how payments are made.

I'm looking for Toy Story 2 for either the Dreamcast or Playstation (there is one on ebay just now, but I can't buy stuff till the weekend), and Toy Story for the MegaDrive. If anyone has these and wants to sell them then we can maybe talk, but I would like some advice about Ebay.

Thanks in advance.

When's the next Free-listing day?

I have a lot of junk, that I'm not willing to 'risk' by paying the listing fee ;-)

Not going to badly gamezfreak, bare in mind most people won't bid until the weekend, or even seconds before the end. Games are going pretty well too, again most people won't bid until the end or night before. You've got 53 views on the console which is good.

Think DW said elsewhere he's on 11.50.

I'm only selling junk at the moment, used free listing day to try clear some stuff, best thing is my Zelda thing. Been buying a few bits and pieces for resale later in the year and for me :)

How much? :)

My auctions seem to be running smoothly! Just waiting for the console itself to shoot up to (hopefully) at least £40.

It's a good job tiltawhirl knew about them banning stuff just because of certain keywords, 'cause I didn't, but I've never had anything removed yet.

Having said that, when browsing anime and other things I've seen more than a few people that thoroughly deserve banning for selling sick stuff. I'm not going to repeat it here, but whilst looking for Sakura Wars (its an anime series which has age rating of about 12) one guy was selling a particularly sick item that I'm sure UK customs would seize immediately and be interested in talking to the buyer...

Just like a little red book with all the information and prices about posting stuff so you can estimate how much to pay when you send. Just pop into your local post office and ask for a book explaining the postage prices and stuff.

Yeah. Someone I know lost £25 last month, and well, even though he done recorded delivery, they sent him a book of stamps and a letter saying he was unsuccessful in his claim.

However, as I've found out, whatever you use for insurance is pretty much irrelevant as should anything go missing it's a small battle to get the Royal Mail to fork out any compensation...

The coolest ISP ever!
In my opinion, the ISP is the best I have ever used. They guarantee 'first time connection - everytime', which they have never let me down on.
Thanks!
Thank you for dealing with this so promptly it's nice having a service provider that offers a good service, rare to find nowadays.
