I'm one of the very few who have never bought anything from Ebay, and I don't have a clue how the thing works. So I would like to know if anyone here has bought anything from there, and how payments are made.

I'm looking for Toy Story 2 for either the Dreamcast or Playstation (there is one on ebay just now, but I can't buy stuff till the weekend), and Toy Story for the MegaDrive. If anyone has these and wants to sell them then we can maybe talk, but I would like some advice about Ebay.

Thanks in advance.

Yep that's a good haul, more so if you didn't buy the games.

Uh huh.

I was very pleased with the outcome of the Gamecube auction.

£122 over all. Not bad aye?

Resident evil I got for free (GAD)
Super Monkey Ball 2 I got on a swap
Super Mario Sunshine - Got it for free (other competition)
RF lead - £1.99.

So it is'nt too much loss I suppose.

See the Gamecube stuff did well gamezfreak, £72.00 is good , 4.70 is a little low for Resi but you cna buy it second hand in stores for about 12. Other than the RF lead, which if you only paid 1.99 for it doesnt matter, then I'd say that lot went pretty well.

Yes, you can claim back the £2.50 DW, it is best to neve raccept less than what you stated for an item, a lot of people mess around and purposelly pay less hoping the seller won't care, but when you lose a little to Paypal anyway you really want to get the price you stated. Could be a mistake though, you'll just have to wait and see if she repays - she should.

If not then you can send a payment reminder via your my ebay Items I'm selling tab, and if you scroll to the bottom of that page there are links to the Non paying bidder program and stuff.

My Zelda thing went for a miserly 12.50, which sucked, but then again it's Nintendo stuff so what did I expect :(

And yep, I am Belldandy this is my older account.

I've emailed them requesting a payment for £33.00.

I said if she paid me yesterday, I'd have it sent today. She's not gunna get it until Thursday at the earliest now. If I get paid today, I'll send it tomorrow. So she had better come online.

If it ends up being a no-pay, can I get the £2.50 that eBay charged me refunded?

If they paid you 50p less then the agreed price then you have all the rights to decline their payment.

Hehe - 15 mins to go on the Games.

Stupid eBay removed my GC auction so last time so I have to wait until tomorow to find out how much it goes for.

It went for £30. And I think your little tip helped a lot. I'm happy, hopefully they'll pay with PayPal. That'll be £33 for me.

Although the fact that most of my auctions haven't done very well at all isn't saying much :-D
