I'm one of the very few who have never bought anything from Ebay, and I don't have a clue how the thing works. So I would like to know if anyone here has bought anything from there, and how payments are made.

I'm looking for Toy Story 2 for either the Dreamcast or Playstation (there is one on ebay just now, but I can't buy stuff till the weekend), and Toy Story for the MegaDrive. If anyone has these and wants to sell them then we can maybe talk, but I would like some advice about Ebay.

Thanks in advance.

Wilkinsons sell cheap bubble wrap and padded envelopers - I posted about it on another ebay type thread somewhere around here today...maybe Mav's one in Xbox forum.

If you wrap the GC box with a couple of layers of bubble wrap, then with something like brown paper you should be okay.

I've got the original GC box - That should do should'nt it?

I'll wrap the GC in bubble wrap and fill the box with some sort of padding material? Now thats something i'll need to find out about.

Yeah, as long as you don't put it in a massive box, try to get one that fits it wel with just a little room for packing material - I use bubble wrap or newspaper, but if you use newspaper always make sure a bag or something is first around the item as you don't want hte print rubbing on the item.

Auctions went well, a cool £300.40 raised, half my buyers have paid online already and had contact from the rest.

Did the Gamecube postage at cost, generally it's not a good idea to hike postage up as it can deter bidders, and the idea is to get as many bidders as possible.

Hey Bell - How'd the auctions go?

And how much did you charge for posting your Gamecube.

*wink wink*
