You probably wouldn't feel the same way about it if you had paid £35 for it though as I wouldn't with MOHF.
My sentiments on Medal of Honour Frontline. Very dated graphics, very poor AI and rather predictable and similar levels. However this doesn't stop me from enjoying what is basically a decent game and a bargain for £20! I have Serious Sam on PC but have only played it a couple of times. I saw it for under £10 on the Xbox as few weeks back so I will give it a gander for that price.
Just my opinion but I actually preffered Serious Sam. It's more fun, it's got no pretentions of grandeure.
It may not have a story and the AI might be about as clever as a brain dead orangutang. But it's just really good fun, and that's what matters when I play games.

Serious Sam doesn't have a story, its just a case of run and gun in different environments. The story in Halo had twists (if a little predictable) and the whole package is amazing. Its the finest shooter I have ever played and I can not wait to get my hands on Halo 2.

The last level is the mutts nuts. Co-OP mode both escaping in seperate Warthog vehicles. Unbeatable.
Last one, from the moment you enter the wrecked Pillar of Autumn (is that name right ?) to the final Warthog shenanigans and the long drop where you think you're going to die - best last level ever.
I enjoyed every single level prely and simply because the game engine was prefect and I got a great amount of satisfaction from shooting the little grunts :) Best shooting game I have ever played without a doubt. I am being very patient of Halo 2 and Deus EX 2 although my fingers are starting to tap on the table now.
