Multiplayer is where this game rules. The last level on the Warthog. I was driving (as I can drive and my mate can't. We went over a bridge and I drove off the edge. However, my mate got out just before it flew off the edge and as I died, he finished the game for us by running to the base with 1 second to spare. So much for my driving skillz.

Halo's only good in multiplayer if you've got at least 8 people playing, the levels are far too big for anything else.

TimeSpltters 2 more than makes up for the lack of multiplayer features in Halo. Even the first TS game kicks Halo's ass in that respect. The levels are a lot better too.

Serious Sam is excellent (read my review)and Halo is excellent.

Comparing them is like comparing chalk with cheese.

Heh

Funniest typo of the day. Of course 'I' wasn't supposed to be monotonous, 'it' was supposed to be.

I was supposed to be monotonous and test your patience, yet you can't understand how people didn't think it was fun?

Seems a bit obvious really. Monotony and aggravation are 2 words that you don't use when reffering to an enjoyable game.

Oh and Serious Sam is excellent. £9.99 from Play.com, so you can hardly go wrong.

Some people really, really don't like the libary do they! As someone pointed out before it is a LIBARY that is how they are designed. This level is supposed to be monotonous and test your patience? I cant understand how people did not think it was fun, blasting flood upon flood to their graves! Although I do have to agree that some of the later levels did get a little 'samey'? And the open levels are the best. So should I get serious sam? Actually I played a demo of serious sam 2 on the PC and it was great fun! Heard good things about Time Spitters 2 as far as multi player goes?

The Medal of Honour engine has kept the same way throughout the series and I think people have become acustomed to the terrible and predictable enemy AI. Its part of a package which I am happy with and have no complaints with.

The thing with Serious Sam is, it's actually supposed to have stupid AI and bland characters.

That's what's so fun about it. It knows how stupid it is, and it constantly takes the p-ss out of itself. It's not about clever AI routines and well designed level, it's all about big guns and stupid amounts of thick as s--t enemies attacking you all at once.

It's an aquired taste, but if you aquire it, it's so much fun.
