So well done MS! I have to admit, I never saw it coming...but now at least one of your products is cool....XBOX! I laughed more than anyone else at the start, but now I look at it as a console....not a buggy PC!
So it needs to be said - allthough inlikely read...well...done...MS!
> I may send this link to Microsoft - brighten up there day
Heh, lets flood them with emails until they look at the people praising them.
Xbox offline? *yawns*

I haven't been bothered with any of those. If XBox got some better single player stuff (in comparison to Nintendo, not Sony) then it would really rock. But as it is, its a tad inflexible and dull for me, and I'd only now get one if BB was in my area. But it isn't, and online gaming isn't the be all end all for me. Still MS have 'done well' but what did you expect? They can just chuck money at it constantly.

My thoughts exactly!
Also maybe we should rename the forum to "MS/x-box FIRST EVER Fanbase" hehehe
I always knew xbox was gonna be great- it had the lions share of sega games comming to it which I wanted to play and some promicing ones too. The PS2 never bowlded me over, and I liked the sound of xbox and what it was doing so I went for it.
And this thread stands out as how opinion can change. Xbox was branded as "rubbish" by many before they knew much about it or had even played it, but slowly people seam to be accepting it. I remember expressing enthusiasm for the xbox a few months before its release and the amount of hostile comments was unbelievable- its "crap" "big" and "MS suck" were the replys comming from sniggering Ninties.
Ahh but look at things now, they are so much better especially after the rocky months after its launch. MS probably for the first time ever are developing a fanbase. Scary.

Forcing through some things people have been after in a console for ages. Things like online gaming and a harddisk, customisable soundtracks. Also for taking a good active role in helping games developers.
Also for throwing a whole heap of money into the market and raising the bar of quality titles so other companies can no longer afford to merely 'tread water' - yes Sony I am looking at you.
For what?
> Every company just wants to make money Mav :P
Some pride themselves on the quality of their products. Whilst some live of a cultivated name and churn out the same old crap with little variation.
including the same old controllers ;)
