It's all opinion though, infact so's this whole argument.

Both consoles have got excellent line-ups. Can't we just look forward to the coming months of gaming instead of writing long lists and trying to convince each other that our opinion's right, and theres is wrong?

Here's another list for all you list junkies out there.

SWAT Global Assault
Rainbow Six 3
Project Gotham 2
Amped 2
Counterstrike
Mario Kart : DD
F-Zero
Pikmin 2
1080 Avalanche
Viewtiful Joe

I'll be getting my hands on all of those games over the next 3 months and they're just my 10 most wanted.

Unfortunatly, we will probably will. Nintendo do have the best line up by utter miles, but a combination of stupdidity, total lack of logic and mongness from the general public will probalby mean the pathetic PS2 and a bit better XBox take Nintendo to the ground.

Still, I'll always play ma Cube and Nintendo games. But if its a fantastic Christmas for them, I shall laugh. And play better games than any of you. Moo.

Psh. That's a stupid statement, and from what you followed on to say, it suggests to me that you've given the Cube's Christmas line-up just a passing glance. This Christmas belongs to Nintendo.

I advise you go for it. Compared to the Dreamcast's Internet service, XBox Live is a dream to use. Hardly any lag and almost problem free. Plus you actually get to chat with whoever you're playing against / with, which makes discussing tactics and planning strategies great fun.... and opens up an unlimited amount of chances for heckling and mockery. :D

The only titles which keep me ranting about how good the Cube's line up are Killer 7, Metal Gear Solid: Twin Tales, Resident Evil 4 and Mario Kart. 3 of them will most likely end up as next years releases leaving only one killer app this year which is Mario Kart. F Zero GX won't appeal to the masses and general gaming public because of its difficulty. The majority of racing fans will look at GT4, Project Gotham 2, Mario Kart and Colin McRae 4.0! F Zero GX and RalliSport Challenge 2 won't appeal to the gaming masses and they won't shift consoles.

I have to agree with the majority in here and say that the XBox has the best forthcoming line-up out of the three consoles. Every time I read an XBox magazine or come on the XBox forum here, I'm likely to be adding yet another game to the list of ones I want. The ones I'm definately going to be buying are:

Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding 2
Conker: Live & Uncut
Doom III
Halo 2
Tony Hawk's Underground
XGRA: Extreme G Racing Association

And those I am seriously considering / looking forward to are:

Breakdown
Colin McRae Rally 04
Counter-Strike
Dead Man's Hand
Dino Crisis 3
Grabbed By The Ghoulies
Half-Life 2
Kameo: Elements of Power
Perfect Dark Zero
Project Gotham Racing 2
Rainbow Six 3
Top Spin
Voodoo Vince
Worms 3D

Whereas on the Gamecube, the only games I'm really looking forward to are:

F-Zero GX
Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike

A year ago I would have laughed in your face if you'd so much as attempted to tell me that in 12 months time I'd be hooked on XBox Live and looking forward to 20+ XBox titles and only a measly 3 Gamecube titles. Granted, a few of the XBox titles I mentioned will appear on the Gamecube as well, but for the likes of Tony Hawk's Underground (which will feature a custom soundtrack option along with Live features, including being able to map your own face into the game) and Worms 3D (which will feature Live play), then the XBox versions are really the way to go as far as I'm concerned. OK, I still like the Gamecube and am a big fan of Nintendo's titles, but even those aren't keeping my interest anymore. Metroid Prime 2, for example, will be one of the biggest Gamecube releases in the console's life... but it doesn't interest me, mainly because I'm finding the first one pretty boring to be honest.

For me the XBox is by far my console of choice and will be for a good, long while.
