Any ideas?

Mine are.....

1) - concentrate more on advertising rather than warning and threatening importers
2) - get RARE back!
3) - make a decent looking Zelda game (the cel shading did nothing to get rid of the kiddy image did it)?
4) - stop the endless delays in releasing games.
5) - shoot the current person in charge of advertising!

It's not a matter as to whether or not it was a good game. Average Joe public generally took one look at it and thought "Kiddies game!"

I really don't see why people are so bothered about online play. If you ask me, Online and the GBA-GameCube connectivety should just be finished with and forgotten about. Online costs too much and as for the GBA connection idea, it's just crap. LAN gaming could well work, but that's yet to be seen.

Advertising alone could well save Nintendo, even though they publish and develope the best games.

As for Grabbed by the Ghoulies, I can't see it being a killer game.

1) Advertise
2) A fully supported Nintendo online gaming network.
3) Harddisk.
4) Carbon Copy everything which made Rare games great.
5) Gets Shigsy to be more multiplayer orientated.
6) New characters to go alongside established ones.
7) Keep making exclusive 'adultish titles' like Eternal Darkness
8) Keep funding innovation
9) Price drop
10)Regaining of 'cool factor'

That's enough to be getting on with.

Except with shares you don't lose all your money in 10 minutes flat. but I see your point. Ortega keeps shares, he has a thread in Life that details changes to his portfolio as and when he makes them.

I can see how people can find it addictive if they have the time - it's just like an intelligent version of horse bettiing - you choose a horse (company) based on their history and previous performance, and place yor bets (shares)... the only difference is that shares are more long term.
