So TBN has a PSOne, not a PSX in which case his pads might have had Analogues, but i'm pretty sure the PSX pads didn't have analogue stick or dual shock for that matter.

I am absolutley sure when i bought my Playstation in 1997 It was Brand new With NO ANALOG STICKS.
Plus, I Know for 'definate' Sony released the Analog joypad in response to the great reviews of the N64 Joypad.

Want to know something else? The N64 was defintely not out at the time, because I went to Leeds on the launch day to buy WipEout 2097. Therefore, the PSone analog controller (not the dual shock, mind) came out before the N64.

All that is neither here nor there really, there were PC analogue sticks/pads years before Sony even thought about making a console.
