I am absolutely, 100%, definitely, totally, completely and utterly sure the I bought my PSone with an Analog Controller? Know why? BECAUSE I'VE GOT THE RECIEPT!

******

So TBN has a PSOne, not a PSX in which case his pads might have had Analogues, but i'm pretty sure the PSX pads didn't have analogue stick or dual shock for that matter.

The PSXs weren't packaged with analog controllers, you bought them seperately.

I am absolutley sure when i bought my Playstation in 1997 It was Brand new With NO ANALOG STICKS.

Well - they're almost identical, except that where there is a hole in the GC controller there is black plastic for the xbox. The xbox also has that cool hologrammy thing that i obscued by the light in this pic.

The Playstation didn't have the dual sticks as standard for ages, but there was an analogue controler available. Didn't have the rumble and had slightly different control sticks, but same idea. Sega also had an analogue pad for the Saturn around the same time.

All that is neither here nor there really, there were PC analogue sticks/pads years before Sony even thought about making a console.
