I'm bored every game on my Cube well maybe i should complete Zelda master Quest and metroid prime.. but, there's a long way till the next best thing ala Mario kart, F zero, Rebel Strike, 1080 etc.
So should i get Soul Calibur 2 even though i havent got a single fighting game in my life (maybe cos i've had a nintendo 64 which had very few fighting games..)
Most important thing is.. is it worth it?

Glad to hear that youve got it. I'd just like to know if anyone has managed to unlock the last 3 characters, or the Extra Vs. and Team Vs. modes. Any help on how to unlock them.

I love SC2...

By Skies has interrupted my SC2 playing... and I'll get Viewtiful Joe before I finish either.

I am so close to getting that last secret character in SC2 as well....

I am impressed with it, bit like when i got Nba Street 2 (but i didn't really like Basketball games that much) and ended up liking it.
Gonna take time to learn the moves though!

Should you get Soul Calibur 2? Well, that all depends on whether or not you want to play one of the year's finest games and the very pinnacle of the beat 'em up genre. It has Link in too.

I want to know how you do the flashy combo's that that your opponent does on the harder settings. I got my ass kicked by the snake-sword women with some painful looking combo's, yet you only get told three-button combo's and special moves on the Move List.

I played a four player team battle with my mate, he beat me 4-0 (number of KO's) by continuously tapping the A button. He totally pished me off! But i started doing some grapple moves and special moves and he was like, wo how do you do that :P ...

Get SC2, just got it today and it's amazing, truly amazing. Not a very hard game, but I haven't tried changing around any difficulties yet, so hopefully that should prove to be a bit more of a challenge.

Best beat-'em-up since Killer Instinct was released all those years, and from me that a very big compliment, it even surpasses Gold, which really surprised me.

I've already completed it with chainy-sword woman, I tried with Link and that massive green dude, but gave up after one fight because i didn't know many moves. I hate winning by mashing buttons like a stupid retard, which could make multiplayer complete crap, but i'll get to that when I play it.

So far, yes very good, get it, easily one of the best games out on the market today.
