So should i get Soul Calibur 2 even though i havent got a single fighting game in my life (maybe cos i've had a nintendo 64 which had very few fighting games..)
Most important thing is.. is it worth it?
I just played through Weapons Master mode until my thumbs hurt :D
By Skies has interrupted my SC2 playing... and I'll get Viewtiful Joe before I finish either.
I am so close to getting that last secret character in SC2 as well....
Gonna take time to learn the moves though!

I played a four player team battle with my mate, he beat me 4-0 (number of KO's) by continuously tapping the A button. He totally pished me off! But i started doing some grapple moves and special moves and he was like, wo how do you do that :P ...
Best beat-'em-up since Killer Instinct was released all those years, and from me that a very big compliment, it even surpasses Gold, which really surprised me.
I've already completed it with chainy-sword woman, I tried with Link and that massive green dude, but gave up after one fight because i didn't know many moves. I hate winning by mashing buttons like a stupid retard, which could make multiplayer complete crap, but i'll get to that when I play it.
So far, yes very good, get it, easily one of the best games out on the market today.
