I'm bored every game on my Cube well maybe i should complete Zelda master Quest and metroid prime.. but, there's a long way till the next best thing ala Mario kart, F zero, Rebel Strike, 1080 etc.
So should i get Soul Calibur 2 even though i havent got a single fighting game in my life (maybe cos i've had a nintendo 64 which had very few fighting games..)
Most important thing is.. is it worth it?

I like Taki's left C-stick move, it jumps her over the enemy, and if your far enough away you can press y in mid air and you will do a diving kick stright down, but you have to actually get the aim right otherwise you will jusy get behind the emeny instead of on top.

So true.
Your hands actually get stuck to the controller.

I use Link for ring-outs as his throw (A+Guard) chucks them quite far. And the Cane of Bryna is good for poison or low-health fights.

I used Talim today and really like her - some nice moves and pretty quick. Plus her front flip thing's really useful for jumping over the enemy when they're about to kick seven shades out of you.

The other girl (with an X at the start of her name) is quite good, too. Although if she says "Just kidding" again I WILL have to pound her face in with a brick.

And I decided to start using blocks now. Quite funny how I got so far without blocking at all. Must be my superior skill.

I've mastered some of Link's moves, and i don't find him anymore annoying as in the multiplayer as i do in the single player, I know which buttons to press for the Bombs, arrows, Boomerang (c-stick) and i ever end up making combo's that finish with those attacks. So far i am a Platium Edgemaster (lv76) with almost all of the stages completed with link and the great fairy Sword (trust me it's THE BEST sword you could afford ever), even the round two stages.

I have unlocked ever character including Lizardman, but I don't know how to use him in arcade mode allow with Assassin and Beserker? But i only need to complete it with Voldo to see if I am allowed to do it with the others.

P.S You will find that once you pick up Skies of Aracdia legends if you haven't played before) then you will not want to put it down again unless you are forced to go to school the next morning.

Soul Calibur 2 rocks, I've done WMM, extra missions too. I'm still playing on it though - I'm trying to get to the highest experience Level.
Still to play multiplayer though (too busy on 1 player).
Link's the best when you have to do fights where only one kind of attack injures them cuz u can throw them out the ring.

I got SCII for less than £25, thanks to SR having a copy sat in the pre-owned box, despite the game being utterly mint, including an unused VIP card MWAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!!!.

For some reason, I'm in the mood for buying new GameCube games, and have just ordered Skies of Arcadia Legends from TheGameXchange.

And I've been thinking about getting this one...

But what's the single-player mode like?
Will it really make me want to keep going, or bury this game at the bottom of the pile in place of something else (like Skies)?

I'm not sure if I should be spending my money on soemthing "cheaper" though... I was thinking of Sonic Adventure 2: Battle (God knows why!!), with Mario Kart, Viewtiful Joe, and all-those-others only WEEKS-away!

I don't like the idea of spending a lot of time (and a fair-bit of money) on this game now, and then seeing it dissapear within a month (along with so-many other games I've tired of).
