So should i get Soul Calibur 2 even though i havent got a single fighting game in my life (maybe cos i've had a nintendo 64 which had very few fighting games..)
Most important thing is.. is it worth it?
Most people notch up combos by tapping A and Y with various direction keys... doing that too fast with Link reveals a bomb or a boomerang or a bow and arrow making the job much harder!
It took me about 20 tries to do it in round 2 of the WMM, and also the about the same amount of times in the similar event in chapter 8.

I just went into practice mode and went down the list looking at all the moves, plus doin weapon master will help you earn weapons which can help. I've just got to unlock lizardman, but the level to unlock subchapter 2 is impossible. I figured that i have to get ring outs but it is impossibe.
Or do i just learn some of them which i think will be useful?

Yes, it was Soul Blade.
I still have it.
The intro really is one of the best ever. Still looks pretty decent as well.
"Welcome to a stage in history" or something. Whatever the bloke says at the start. It's something new in SC2, but much worse.

Incredible.
Just started the 2nd go-though of Weapon Master bit. Ouch.
But good ol' Link's always there for me. He really does rule.
As do Taki's bouncers. Very nice.

I completed it the first time, but the second playing is solid...
