I would think that Rare are just gaining experience with the Xbox tech before releasing PD in playable form.

why does it take so damn long to make a sequel? there's PD2 and then there's Doom 3. not saying they should rush it or anything, but I'd like to have a go before I'm pushing up daisies
The submarine one was it? Difficult. I got lost a few times to. Also had a habit of falling down holes in the floor and breaking my neck.
I hated the last level, couldn't get my sense of bearings...
Yeah. I liked that game. So so difficult on the later levels on hardest dificulty level.
TWINE... only part of the game I remember was at the start in the bank...
