GTA3 - Liberty City.

The first jump into 3D. Had the biggest impact on me. Spent countless hours playing it. Lots of new ideas were included which countless new game manufacturers have tried to copy. GTA3 made the largest leap forward, which was a gamble that paid off.

I've only played GTA3, but from what I've heard Vice City is better: It has enhanced graphics, better aiming and no slow-down.

And the aiming system in GTA3 is really irritating in the levels where you have to use a sniper rifle.
