Also, Metroid Prime, Mario Sunshine, StarFox Adventures and Mario Party 4 are all Player's Choice range on the same day. Too bad I have all of them :-\
As a notable, I had to see the more perverted side to that :D

It does indeed seem to be devoid of any clear logic or reason.

There is of course the two you mention, and then the likes of Gran Turismo 4, Final Fantasy X-2 and a new Eye-Toy disc. I'd say that's a fairly solid 'handful'.

Yeah because Nintendo can afford to sell the Gamecube at this price and profit on it ? Especailly seeing as RRP was originally 179.99 that dropped to 129.99 before the launch...
Ultimately, for me, Nintendo's problem is games. I sold mine because the games don't appeal to me, and that's the thing for a whole lot more people. Price cutting won't help, the PS2 is the most expensive console, yet still sells better than Xbox and Gamecube - because of the games. Dropping £50 off the Cube's RRP is going to further p*ss off independent retailers who still support the Cube, and most people with no console will see something that is largely perceived to be failing having it's price cut even further.
Sure, it could work and I could be wrong, but I still think there is more chance of me getting Halo 2 in my Xmas stocking than Nintendo clearing up this Xmas...
Manhunt is probably my most anticipated game, I can't wait for this one. Of course Metal Gear 3 as well which Sony have supposedly sealed as a PS2 exclusive with no Xbox version appearing afterwards. I will wait and see on this one.
I think everyone already knows what I think of Devil May Cry. Its genius, absolute genius.

I'd say Pro Evo 3 definitely, but Devil May Cry just really isn't the kind of game I enjoy playing.
So that makes one necessary PS2 purchase.
And if Konami would hurry up and release that one game on Gamecube or Xbox I could finally rid myself of the PS2.
:-D
