Great game, feels a bit like Starfox to play (not quite sure why) but of course i mean that in a good way.
If you can find it buy it. You won't regret it. Roll on Skies 2.
Nearly finished Skies and will be back to it within the next week.
Great game, though.
I thought it made Zelda look very ordinary.
Sure, it wasn't perfect.
Random battles were annoying until you could avoid them, though lambda burst / omega cyclone (with everyone else on guard and holding z to avoid the move's animation) could finish most of them within one turn anyway, so it wasn't really that bad.
But the plot and the attention to detail were amazing. And there was so much to do outside the main quests. It's even converted me to turn-based combat games.
Best game I've ever played.

Still have it?
1) The plot/script is utter toss. Needs to be redone waay better, with full voice over, for the second.
2) Random battles need to be sorted out - most of the time its okay, just sometimes it happens far too oten.
3) Graphics/Sound (obviously)
4) More lentghy side quests. Discoveries don't really count - most you find simply by flying to an odd island.
and generaly improve it. I've nearly finished it now, but I haven't touched it for several weeks...
Tis great though.
Ive spent alot of time playing this game (30+ hours), but i put it down cause of the many random battles.
