Despite naff graphics I am loving this Skies game. Picked it up along with 3 other games (see my £50 in cambridge thread) for a mere £19 and I can't imagine a closer RPG alternative to Zelda. Vast, expansive, encourages exploration and a deep story. In fact as storylines go it moves at a far faster pace than that Wind Waker game.

Great game, feels a bit like Starfox to play (not quite sure why) but of course i mean that in a good way.

If you can find it buy it. You won't regret it. Roll on Skies 2.

Dyne, thats the one.

I had my first ship battle with the black pirate dude, fed the fish some moonfish and generally understand the game now!

I think I might go play it now actually!

You can fight Piastol for a fourth time (best to wait until you get Enrique back) after you have collect all 24 moonfish in the game, it takes a while but it's worth the soppyish reunion you get for beating her again.

I would suggest that you go into the vortex and get the velorium pieces and then talk to the weapons guy you're meant to get after getting a good enough rating his house is in upper sky and is south of the Blue moon continent.

It's Dyne, Vyse's dad.

Just to avoid the gigas hit him once before the red box and twice on it.

Oh so on GS2 you are tying to get through to Lemuria, have you got all the trident pieces yet? if you haven't I wouldn't even try coz there's an uneatable boss there that needs the trident to take down his super shield otherwise none of your attacks will hit him.

Skies is pretty darn excellent!

Dyra or whatever his name is, right at the start..

"How are you going to defeat all 5 of us with just you 2?"
*Bang*
"I only count 4.."

Haha excellent

Nope, haven't heard of that forum. On GS2, I'm sailing around the Sea of Time.

Stupid SoAL, still can't get past Giga, he hits me every turn no matter how much I throw at him.

How far are you up to on GS2 then?

BTW are you part of any Golden Sun Invisionfree forum?

My own forum? Huh?

Heh, anyway, I haven't yet had another crack at that Giga and Bellezza, been playing solidly Golden Sun 2 over the weekend, which is at least as good as Skies anyway.

Probably have another go at them tonight with the advice I got. ^.^

I swapped Hitman 2 for SOA sealed and it should come tommorow. Hitman 2 was good, but sneaking around kinda bored me in the end.
