Warcraft III, the RTS no RTS gamer should be without. I'm always game for a decent bit of online play in this sort of game, and I KNOW that many among you also own this quality product, and perhaps even play online.

I propose we try to get some games going together. We can meet on IRC on the irc.netgamers.org server in channel #broodwar (owned by me and some mates, usually very quiet tho), or meet on MSN for Warcraft III, Frozen Throne, or indeed, should you feel up to it, Broodwar.

I should warn you though, that nobody can beat me at broodwar. NOBODY!!!.

my MSN address is [email protected] and my IRC nick is typically Gaz or something.

The gauntlet is down, I hereby dare you to pick it up.

Indeed. This is why I also use several groups for the same group of units. That way I can get my ranged units to target individual enemies, while the melee units just plough in and keep anything from getting too close to the ranged units.

That's the theory, anyway.

Nope. But reaching that high on the keyboard in the heat of battle could become irritating. But thanks.

You did know that heroes are automatically hotkeyed to the F1-F3 keys, right?

Cool.

I find it useful to have individual heroes selected as groups, so it's easy to activate their spells.

*tap number*
*tap hotkey*
*click destination of pain*

My build order is pretty standard though. tart off with Altar and a farm, go on to lumber mill and baracks and second farm, make pain.

I done a little practice against my brother last night. Ive refined my build order and learnt a bit more about micromanagement.

Unless you're in a team game, where each different member will mass produce a different unit...

You dont want to mass too many of the same thing though.

Mass fiends is a bad idea for example.
