I've already purchased the game and 2 drums from 'Play Asia' I beleive it will be stupidly funny and i'm getting it for xmas (a perfect time to play it with your nan etc for a laugh). I like something unique, i didn't get a chance to purchase the superb Samba DE Amigo but i have got the 'Eye Toy' and dance mat which i love. I don't beleive Nintendo will let us down on this game either, it's going to be a great laugh and one of those games that you can't take too seriously.... :)

I hope I don't have to import, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was a Japanese-only title.

Erm I certainly would be surprised if it was a Japanese only game. Not only is it a massive world wide franchise, not only do Namco dislike making Japanese exclusive titles but it's hardly a Japanese style game that wouldn't work over here now is it.

It was Dreamcast peripheral.

There was one down my local leisure centre for a summer.

Eh?

Well there was in industry around VR and it still was a gaming fad.

I'm sure it was a marketable product just not one that lasted very long, a fad.

Fad is something that becomes very big very quickly, makes a load of money and then people lose interest... fast.

A fishing rod prephiral is something that may have been cool in some peoples eyes but not enough to call a fad. Neither would be virtual reality or games played off the pulse.

Fad is defined as a 'short lived fashion'.

It doesn't saying anything about it having to be 'big' just short lived.

How do you define 'short' in the gaming world though?

£40 with the bongo's isn't bad.

Still, I wouldn't want to pay much for a gimmic that only lasts one game. Besides, I can't really afford gaming nowdays.

THe last game I bought was a second hand Gauntlet. :-)
