Yeah most fads carry on in a diminished way, doesn't stop them from being fads though.
Doesn't work like that in the Gaming world.
Gameboy... was a massive fad... fad died down but Gameboy still remained as one of the best selling games consoles.
Mario was a fad, movie, cartoons etc... fad died but we still get on average 2 Mario games a year and they still hit the top ten every time if not number 1.
Pokemon was a fad... everyone loves Pokemon then it died down but It still sold 4 million late last year.
Fad don't die in gaming world... they just become another part of it.

Was that actually a fad?

Well it was shortlived and a lot of people got one. So I think it was.
What about Roller Balls?
What about games that you play off your pulse?

Dunno one person who got one.

When did that appear?
Roller Blades is a computer game.
When I say games i mean the industry... not silly little fettishes that included games.
And since when was games you can play off your pulse a fad? It was more of an idea that never took off.
Don't argue, just think of looking like a drum-totting, Jungle funky meistro.
