just half an hour ago the north tower of the world trade centre in New York City was hit by a small passenger airplane then the south tower was hit by a larger private jet hit the south tower...the first jet is said to have been hijacked.......

Yes, the US will go all out to catch whoever did it, but they won't just chuck a bomb on a whole country.
Why not?
Becuase then they will look just as bad to the rest of the world. Killing innocent people etc.
They will catch the people that did this, but they won't blow up half the planet in doing it.
Bush will want to appear like he is "doing the right thing". And the right thing ISN'T blowing up a country full of millions of innocent people, just to get a few thousand people.

I hope the US will probably deal with this in the same fahion as the Oaklahoma bombing. Investigation, information gathering, tactical moves etc.
