just half an hour ago the north tower of the world trade centre in New York City was hit by a small passenger airplane then the south tower was hit by a larger private jet hit the south tower...the first jet is said to have been hijacked.......

George Bush has described the attack on the World Trade Centre as a "national tragedy".
The president confirmed it was apparently a terrorist attack.
Mr Bush says he has ordered the full resources of the Federal government into hunting down and finding those responsible for the attack.
The president says he has spoken to Vice-President Dick Cheney, the governor of New York and the director of the FBI since the first attack.
He also said full resources would go to help the families of the victims.
"Terrorism against our country will not stand," he said.
Mr Bush was reading to children at a school in Sarasota, Florida, when he was told the news.
The president briefly turned sombre when his chief of staff, Andrew Card, whispered into his ear. He then resumed reading.
Asked what he knew about the planes, Mr Bush replied, "I'll talk about it later."

CNN say Pentagon is hit, all other government buildings are evacuated.

I think that it's clearly a specialised group who will be very difficult to deal with.
