I don't believe in god or any other supreme being but I pray to all Humanity as a whole that they listen to reason and realise that as Humans they should not allow the deaths of other innocent Humans. If a person has a point to make they should make it in peaceful protest or negotiation not by murder. Perhaps if they saw that such things could work the world might be better. Another thing that bothers me (and this shall be my last point) is that if the terrorists are acting from a foreign country to America that is developing then America will refuse to aid them in any way because of it. Perhaps giving aid would be the right thing to do, though it may seem like surrendering. If they could help the innocent civilians on the promise that the terrorists are given up then they would not only be showing trust but a caring for the worlds people and no tolerance for evil. It would be a step in the right direction. The question is, would the terrorists give themselves up if it meant that their people would get aid? Probably not, even though they are willing to give their lives for thier cause and all this would do is show the people that the terrorists don't work for the good of the people, rather for power for themselves.
Perhaps we should be trying to be calm, reasonable and forgiving. First of all not everyone of whatever race, religion or location is to blame for this. If it was Jewish people that doesn't mean all Jews deserve to die, if it was Palastines the same. Whoever it was that was involved in the planning and execution of the plan are the ones that are to blame but just attacking them doesn't seem right either. The best solution would be to find those responsible (not all who think it's good just those who are involved) and they should be caught, tried and then either imprisoned or executed depending on the law of the state they are tried in. What it comes down to is that these people were willing to give up their lives for some point but worse than this they were willing to kill people for some political agenda. True justice can never be obtained, until people learn that we would all do better if we just got along then fools without morals will still do this sort of ridiculous thing without even considering the actual consequences. If people really were jumping up and down in joy over the death of thousands of innocent civilians they are not only devoid of morals but they are also stupid. The civilians that were killed had nothing to do with who America chooses to support, they had nothing to do with any wars or battles being fought and there was no reason at all to kill them. Those people that would jump for joy would have to believe that they deserve to die themselves for the actions of whoever it was that commited these acts of terrorism. Otherwise they would be hypocrites, if innocents should die for the actions of others then what kind of a world do we live in? The worst thing is that these acts or terrorism can only stand to reinforce resistance against whatever political agenda these terrorists had. People will not listen to those who are willing to end lifes for their own ends. It's people who believe that peaceful demonstration is a bad thing and does not work that are the sort to turn to terrorism and they are so wrong. Worryingly though, such peaceful demonstrations are often dealt with too harshly by the authorities. Just recently the police were rounding up and unlawfully detaining anyone caught in the area of the protest when there was that protest by environmentalists and they even used excessive force. Then when someone attacks innocent civilians in a place like Israel the government sits back and watches because they fear that any action could be seens as against the Israelie people as a whole.
As long as people are willing to kill, let each other die or allow others to kill just for political or financial gains then we will have problems. We can only hope that one day we will all work together as a whole with all our resources distributed. We are already on our way, our governments take our resources in the form of taxes and such and move them to where they are most needed by others in our country spending on health, safety, education and welfare. One day perhaps we will be able to live in something like the Federation of Star Trek, all people working together for the good of everyone. Let us also hope that this day can come without bloodshed, threats or terror. For if it is to be a true accepted peace that benefits us all the only way will be through peaceful negotiation, cooperation and unification.
What worries me is that everyone seems to be asking the wrong question.
forget who, start asking why.
(whisper) what did he lose?
