The Palastinians have a great deal of greivances. Perhaps if they were less violent themselves they would get a better share of World sympathy - but perhaps not.
I can understant their feelings running high, and they are far less likely to have seen the full facts or full coverage.
I give them the benefit of the doubt as a race, but condemn those who lead them to violence or incite further hatred.
They reckon 800 people in the Pentagon, a VERY ROUGH figure.
Possibly up to 5,000 people in EACH TOWER of th e WTC, again, very rough.
Emergency crews were caught up, being in the building when it collapsed.
Also, another 47 storey building collapsed during the night (UK time) due to damage caused by vibrations of the collapsing WTC.
Other buildings probably damaged, may be a few weeks before the area is re-opened.

Several people were detained in Venice and Vero Beach, Florida, and at the Westin Hotel in Boston's Copley Square. Police said the men have not been arrested and did not describe them as suspects. Boston police say the detainees may offer "important material information." The Florida detainees are thought to have connections to flight schools in the area. (Full story)
