Getting Xbox Live this Christmas, but first I have to get Broadband - so some advice would be much appreciated from the forum experts. I would primarily like to know which ISP offers the most powerful broadband package, and which are compatable/work best with Xbox Live.

Thanks for any help.

Well I should have 2 512k broadband lines in the next 10 days or so. Getting them installed for free but I'm still shelling out extra for the modems. The accounts are all tied up with the lines and my ISP will definately still be here in a years time so it's looking good.

You could get the 1mb ADSL service now. Most decent ISPs are in the £33-£40 mark for 1Mb.

How much are the 512K, 1Mb and 2Mb then? Is 2Mb business or Home, as we havent got a proper home 2Mb and have only just got 1Mb. Could get 2Mb on datastream but dont really want to risk it as not many ISPs do it and it still costs alot for 2Mb.
