Which console boasts the best graphics? Personally, i reckon that the GameCube has the best graphics, while the X-box does not master its (otherwise crap) graphics, and the PS2 seriously lacks in graphic compared to GameCube and the 'full' potential of the X-box

Ive only recently purchased Sword of the Beserk - I think its a great game, very playable but those cut scenes tend to go on forever!! I dont mind it that much but I sometimes get a bit frustrated after about an hour only five or ten minutes were actually spent playing!!

At least with a PC you can configure the graphics to your own liking to some extent which is why it's so flexible as a gaming system.

Take Counter Strike as an example, you can play it with hundreds of different graphical cards and configurations, so you can tweak it just to your own liking.

With all the consoles you have to make do with what you got. So PCs will always be better in that respect.

The Bouncer reminds of Sword Of The Beserk on the Dreamcast. Most criticise games of this nature. Personally, I like them. They're like mini works of interactive art. (Kind of)!

I think each of the consoles have developed their own unique styles of graphics with the technology available to them, so it's a case of what each individual prefers in a style sense that will draw them to their choice of console.

Combine that with gameplay, and that should help narrow down your choices because the games produced for each console decide which market they are aiming at.

Nintendo have always specialised in the 16 and under age range, producing a limited amount of 17/18+ titles.

Sony have gone for the 'disposable income' bracket, i.e. all those of working age, although they have now started a range of educational games for the 6+ group.

X-Box seems to be bringing out games for the same group as Sony, although there is yet to be to my knowledge a game to be produced for the pre-teen market.

Personally, because I'm 34, the X-Box seems more attractive to me with the PS2 running a very close second, but I can understand why a 14 year old would go for the Gamecube as a first choice.

All next gen consoles are capable of producing dazzling visuals, there is no denying that - All consoles have some of the best looking games - However it would be pointless if the games lack gameplay which must come before anything else!!
Thats what concerns me about the Getaway - Nothing has been said or given away about how the game plays!! Just hope it lives up to expectations otherwise it could end up as a major disappointment!!
