This is such an immense improvement at least graphically over the last one. Ive not played it too much, but i did start the story mode yesterday which i have to say is really good. The cut scenes are top notch.
Ive bought some parts and stuff from the shop, but havent put them to any real use yet.

I like fast racers. I still play XG3 and Wipeout64 oftern.

To get staff ghosts
To play against staff ghosts you need to get within 10 seconds of the staff ghost time in time trial (when you finish your race you get a well done message etc) - the .ghost will then be made available in the shop to buy for 10 credits
(is that the type of ghost you mean ? - if not let me know and I'll explain how to race against your own ghosts)
