Big name, big game and big fan following...it's bound to be a game widely discussed!

As we seem to have a thread for most of the big games, I thought we may as well have one for this behemoth of a game - so if you have any ideas, favourite ways to play the game or just want to pass comment on what already appears to be a fantastic and absorbing game - please post here.

first off...I'm liking the combat system now - no definite turn based combat? Action seems to be constant even though you have to select your moves. Brilliant?

Thats because Snow is a beast and should be in every team, does he have the best STR??

Yeah. I would be suprised if anyone at Chapter 9/10 said they didn't have that trophy to be honest.


EDIT: Snow's HP is ridiculous. My Lightning has 15500, my Fang 20500. Snow has 27000..... Shame I don't use him :)

Finally, glad to hear your racking up some Trophies, you got the gold one for 100 enemies details?? I have like 70 enemies at the moment so i should get that, no problem!

Im 13 hours in but I think its probably only 12 as I was oncall this weekend and forgot to pause it a few times.

Yeah it's Chapter 11. The story pretty much takes you to the first one so you can't miss them. Posted a bit of advice aboutt ehm earlier, or the best way to go about it anywho.

Got all 3 main roles maxed out to stage 10 now. Not as easy as it sounds. Now I'm just good enough to take down the hardest (non-mark) enemy. Bloody things are a pain....

I think i have done like 15 hours, so i must still have loads to do, Warhunt said about 40+ hours of playing!

I'm on Chapter 8 now and am really enjoying the game. Ive never really been a FF fan but this game has turned me, mainly because its the first one ive actually sat down and persevered with.

P.S I have the official strategy guide in PDF format if anyone wants it. Let me know

I don't know why there is so much hate for Snow lol, i like him, but i guess we all have our own styles.

I am looking forward to getting on with it some more and choosing my party.
