Pretty decent game so far although a few things haven't really lived up to what I hoped. For starters the game isn't as fast as I originally magined and although it runs like a dream I still feel well in control of the vehicles which is something I never fealt when playing the Wipeout games. The tracks I have done so far in the Free run mode are damn fine to look at but they are a tad on the short side with very little variation in terms of track layout aside from the obvious visual aspect.

The handling is sweet and the vehicles are quality to control and with one of the easiest control layouts I have ever seen. Great to control, great to look at and some pretty decent audio tracks. Nothing absolutely amazing so far but none the less a solid title that I am hoping will get better the more I go into it. Will crack on with the Story mode later but for now I just want to get used to different vehicles.

So far so good.

Local 5 aside pitch is lit all night and we have been known to play through the early hours of the morning. Of course we have the odd multiplayer game on Xbox but even that I sign them as guest into LIVE for the MOTO GP demo which is pretty decent when racing 14 other people. Still doesn't make up for the fact that playing multiplayer games with people who for the majority aren't really into games is boring as hell. A couple of them have LIVE but are yet to get Rainbow Six so instead we just knock a footie about and sod offline gaming.

Oh and would someone please gag the other fool, he is about as funny as a case of piles.

And what happens at about 12 at night, when you can't just go have a kick about? Or after you've come back from a party with a couple of mates, and you are too hyped to go to sleep, do you all go your seperate ways and just play against each other on LIVE?

Haha. To be perfectly honest, I'd of thought playing by yourself is way more lame;

A) If it's your friends, why not play with them in the same room?
B) Online is 'beardy' in comparison to relative simplicity of offline.
C) All for going outside, but once it rains, do you tell your friends to bagger off, and go and play LIVE against them (?!!) or people you don't even know?!!

Seems odd to me, but each to their own....

Imagine how rubbish playing a football game multiplayer without anybody else there would be.

And I've played F-Zero.
