No updates for Rainbow Six 3 till the new year and when they do it'll only be a .50 cal patch and 1 new level. If they seriously want people to continue playing their game online they're gonna really have to pull their fingers out, 9 paltry levels and a 4 month wait for a 1 level update is just not right. They promised so much yet so far all we've seen is jack all.

Thank god I've got Counterstrike to keep me busy.

Oh and the new level will be Parade, based on the single player campaign mission. Quite why it takes them so long to rip deathmatch levels from the campaign missions I can't imagine.

The one thing I've just thought of it how useful the hard drive n the Xbox is. Now sure, the game should not have been released with any bugs, but most games on all formats do have some. At least in RS3 they can use patches to fix that. Which is neat.

I've never used a .50 cal yet. People use them thinking it gives them an advantage, but it doesn't really - I can snipe people from miles away with my FAMAS and get a kill, and it has a much higher rate of fire.

I used to think grenade launchers were annoying, but had a great game with them on the other night. you've got to change your tactics completely (i.e. run away or die). they take so long to reload that if someone misses, they're toast soon after.

Ah right. I only used a .50 cal once I think you see. In that case they should fix it.

Friend List Join is all it says, don't have a clue really, maybe its a quicker button to allow you to invite friends or something?

waddya mean by this?

and 50 cal patch, NB, I think they mean to add recoil to it (it currently has none) and reduce the damage it does or something.

as you can shoot someone in the little finger and they die at the moment.

I would like to see more levels soon, but then I've not nearly played it as much as any of you have.

What would it need a .50 cal patch for? I would like an ELO patch at that. Couple more maps, a few more modes and it would be the best shooter since Goldeneye.

Counterstrike any good Tilta? Saw a few reviews that said it was just average.

nah, the game we have now is fine, it just needs more maps.

Parade will be a good multiplayer map providing they keep it pretty much the same as it is now. plenty of shady vantage points to get crafty head shots.
