"Should I get a PS2?"

For christmas my mum is giving me £200 and I was thinking of buying a silver PS2.

Should I or not?

Even so, the modem is expensive, and there aren't many good online PS2 games out there.

I have all three consoles. I am unbiased.

Why would anyone suck up to a console? They can't hear us, or read this conversation.

You don't need the hard drive to go online with your PS2. Also there is no yearly fee with the PS2 unlike the XBox which charges £30 a year. Some Ps2 games charge a subscription (Everquest is the only one though I know that does) but some XBox games also do this I believe.

J-42(wot does that stand for anyway), Now that you've lost the war with GC your gonna suck up to the xbox, poor boy.

PS2 has online gaming which is grow in popularity rapidly, does GC?

PS2 has a built in dvd player(which are worth about £59.99),does GC?

PS2 has a CD-player, does GC?

PS2 has a wide variety of games, FPS, RPG, ACTION, ADVENTURE etc, does GC?

Im not looking for war but if you want it, you'll get it.And i know im not funny, i dont try to be.

The DVD drive on the PS2 is the worst i've ever seen. I'd rather watch VHS. Also, xbox has a DVD player which is good.

That's exactly what happend to me. Although I was excited when I bought my PS2.
