You don't "grow out of a game" if it's fun, then it's fun if it's crap it's crap. It is very unlikely that your opinion of a game will change on the basis of your age.

Do you mean Nintendo - GC aren't a company. Games aren't supposed to be realistic, it depens on the game. You couldn't play a game like GTA if it was realistic.

Nintendo have been around over 100 years, i doubt they're confused.

im sure if we went to the general chat forum that everyone will agree that GC and PS2 are both the same in different way.
And as for the Xbox, i think it is probably the worst, game-wise anyway.

Get a Game Cube or PS2. NOT X-BOX. Anything but X-Box.
It really all depends on what you are into. Gamecube offers games such a Sonic and Mario.
PS2 offers a better range of racing and fighting games. Gran Turismo for instance. A brilliant game.
If you buy the gamecube you could by more games as the GC is only £80.
CGJ's verdict: The PS2 is better but GameCube has a better range of games.
PS2.

1) That's backing away from a sinking ship. Get back on and drown!
2) It's also total rubbish. Both the same in a different way? WTF has that got to do with anything - including Sense?!!!
3) It's rubbish.

XBOX is worth it just for Live, and it's got some awesome Live! games nowadays...

And PS2? Pffft. It may sell well, but there are few games on it (minus Pro Evo) that interest me. Glad I sold it - £99 unboxed.

lol

LOL.

this made me laugh a lot. not in a disagreeing way, but admiration of a funny comment. face it, the fat magician walked into an age old trap. it used to be a useful way for me to p*** alastair off, but...

i think the ps2 is the console for me (personal opinion). i like the part mindless, mayhem, fun of GTA. aqfter all, thats what i think a consoles for. i buy strategy games and other specific genre games for the pc. its just easier with a mouse, keyboard and stuff (although my friends bought me conflict DS II and i really like it). i also like pro evo and EA sports games. it also has the smallest and in my view, the most managable controller. people say sony shouldnt aim to make multi consoles, but i like the fact that it plays dvds, games and cds. these are my reasons. be a critic if you will but i pose some questions to owners of a gamecube in the least patronising way possible. dont just take offence over nothing:

1) do you agree that your games (not multi platforms) are mainly
rpg/platform style: metroid, mario, luigi, zelda, etc.

2) the multi platformers are huge contributors to your best games

3) there arent many fps games and even fewer sporting games.

4) your games rely on "curved, colourful, bright graphics"(mario), not "sharp, realistic, graphics"(GT)
