OK Lets go back in time..........

*Turns on smoke machine - cue SFX*

Its 1950, the war is over and everyone is looking for something to do in their spare time.

You now have the knowledge to enlighten the people about the Future of Gaming as you have already been into their future.....

You have the oppurtunity to invent a games console and 1 game, but that is all.

You must think carefully about the durability of the console as it will have to last around 50 years, which also means the 1 game you include with the console will also need to keep them occupied for a very long time!

Think very carefully.

What games console and 1 game would you provide the people of 1950 with?

The eels called the Hylian Loach its the biggest fish in the pond, you can catch it with the sinking lure apparently, I never have though.

my highest is 24 pounds without lure, and 33 with the sinking lure. Yeah you can catch the eels but they are very hard to catch cos sometimes you get other types of fish.

That fishing game is good on Zelda OTT. Whats the biggest fish you have caught Ed Hunter? My sister caught a 21 pounder! Without sinking lure! My biggest is 20 pounds without lure.

Have you seen the eel's? Put on those heavy boots and walk into the lake, look around and you will see an eel, somewhere. My mates brother says he caught it, but i don't belive him.

I would choose the N64 and Zelda: OOT
N64: Durable carts
OOT: Great game, fishing game makes you come back to it (alos 60 hours long)

Are we all really that sad?!...... Wouldnt you rather

Nope, tetris is a game that can't be compleated. It goes on for ever in A-Type mode, I got to level 14 with about 60,000 points. I put it down then hours later I played it again. GT3 is good and you can play the tracks again but when its compleated it compleated.

Having just read the topic, my chosen game for the 1950 lot will be Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the N64. I don't know about lasting the full 50 years, but seeing as it's just after the war, the public need a morale booster, so Zelda should be submitted. With a emotional story, I'm sure the post war public will be gripped by the cutscenes, music, etc. It will also take them a while to learn the controls and also how to switch the machine on. Finally, they would have to wait a while for electricity as the plug was not standardisd at that time, I think.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
LOVE it....
You have made it so easy to build & host a website!!!
