Being off ill means I have dragged myself to the keyboad and I'm tapping it out as I double over in pain.
Or something.
Check back around lunchtime for the further adventures of
Log In The Creek
Maybe Log needs product placement?
LITC should be sponsored by Montain Dew, the oddest tasting drinkable substance ever known to man. Log however, could quaff gallons of the stuff while we rake in the cash for advertising their bile water to the public.
It's the new millenium and all that.
A is for Action
U is for Unstoppable
S is for Sex God
E is for Entertainment
R is for Rocks!!
LITC rules...
As for women in 80s action shows - Heather Thomas in the opening credits of The Fall Guy. My word..... That should be in the opening credits of all retro actions shows.
Tell you who *would* be good in LITC is Frances Mcdormand in a Fargo type role. She'd be superb. Plus there's the wood chipper connection....
And maybe Robin Beck for some US cheese rock action. Maybe Log needs product placement?
Of course, you could go total Russ Meyer irony and have an all-singing, feminist topless prison.
I'd watch that
New agey theme to include them chanting to regain their size ten figures/youth. No boring. No now I've got it. The premise is still the same but they discover a time machine to allow them to go back and correct all the wrongs of their politically incorrect youth. Boss Hogg will get his enourmous rear end kicked, Charlie will be exposed as the pornmeister he is and Jennifer Heart will rip of Robert Wagners toupe before running off with the Butler.
I'm afraid that's it. Can't think of anything to add to this.
Daisy Duke saw me through many an adolescent hormone storm....sorry, flashback there..ahem.
This show is in homage to the great action-shows that my generation grew up and are sadly lacking these days.
Just good ol' fashioned hetero men battling the forces of evil in a non-violent and morally correct manner.
And Wings Hauser is The Daddy.
Why don't you come up with a premise for a female-centered retro-show?
Many, many situations and jokes there, although Charlie's Angels movie has used a lot of those.
