No?
Go seek them out, I won't tell you where to look, you can make a game out of it or something.
Okay, have you looked now?
Good.
What did you think?
Looks very, very cartoony indeed, doesn't it?
How much can change in a year hey!
Remember last years Zelda video, featuring Link and Ganondorf fighting. It looked nothing like this at all!
One thought has entered my head, and I'll let you in on it, it's a bit messy, but that's the best you'll get!
Remember SNES Zelda, which featured two worlds, which you could cross between?
Remember Ocarina of Time, in which you could go to two different worlds as adult Link and young Link?
Remember Majora's Mask, in which you could take on different forms by wearing different masks?
Now what if the new Zelda game allows Link to play as an adult, as seen at last years Spaceworld, but also in this cartoon form that is being shown now?
Zelda games always seem to have something major like this, and the vast differnces between the graphical styles would be an extraordinary contrast, and a very odd gameplay experience!
But hey, maybe I'm wrong, maybe this game has taken on the role of an 'interactive cartoon'. I can't wait to see some videos to see what it looks like in-game, as the screenshots released so far aren't fo great quality, and you can't judge too much.
At the moment GAMECUBE Zelda is scheduled for an Xmas 2002 release in Japan, so we might see it in the summer of 2003!
Hopefully it will be worth the wait, and there's plenty of other games to keep us busy until then!
> Er, who called Zelda cartoony?
Nintendo people, people that write news stories etc.
It's been described as an 'interactive cartoon'.

Apparently, they were working on the game like this, but they thought Link should remain as a child, rather than an adult?
Also, does anyone remember the leaked details that stated that GAMECUBE Zelda would be highly 'fight-oriented' with you learning many, many new sword techniques throughout the game, and using then in incredible real time fights.
Hardly fits in with the look of this game, does it?
My curiosity about this game grows the more I think about it!
As Star Wars was announced an age ago, the real shots and videos have been put up.
I also was unimpressed by the Soul Calibur 2 and Mario Sunshine shots.
I was impressed by the Star Wars game shots, but I'm starting to wonder... were they 'edited' in any way?
"Our new target market of 15 - 25-year-olds don't want M rated games they want CCGSOFTI (Complete Crap Games, Suitable Only For Toddlers and Infants)"
Here and Game-Towers we though we might make a games that changes from Baby Blue to Pink every 5 seconds... and can only be completed when you have hummed 'Lullaby' 1000 times, clapped at the screen and druled at Mario... wearing a cap with wings on that completely defies the laws of physics and looks crap.
What in the name of 12 types of monkey is that! The Zelda graphics look *not good*!
I mean even the PS2 people were raving about the Zelda graphics and now look... maybe Nintendo could make twice as mature games like Playdays or Noddy....
Miyamoto could dress Mario in Pink and kill him before Yamauchi complained...
Bloody Nintendo... Zelda is off my list...
and for those of you who say graphics dont count...
*Slap!*
